NY Mini Chair by Malcolm Ransome

The New York Chair possesses a visual language rooted in Malcolm Ransome’s backgrounds in both industrial and graphic design, demonstrated in its remixing of an iconic logo into a functional object. Constructed from one single piece of 1/4inch bent aluminum.

To Malcolm, the iconic logo represents New York at large. This piece pays respect to his upbringing in upstate NY and serves as an homage to the material and textural landscape of New York City.
