Recon AA By Lichen for Hako Supported by Karimoku

We partnered with Karimoku, one of Japans largest furniture manufacturers to produce a capsule of designs that re-contexualize the signature AA stool by Ishinomaki Studio. This exhibition is currently hosted in Chiba, JP by gallery, HAKO.

During our research trip abroad, we worked hand in hand with Karimoku's designers, technicians, scientists, and carpenters at their facilities in Nagoya, Japan.

To curate our collection of items for the Hako exhibit, we created 5 unique items as well some existing furniture from our catalog.
