Please note: 2x have arms 2x don't. Set of Four Model 811 Caned Dining Side Chairs designed by Michael Thonet for Ton. In the mid-1800s, Thonet led a revolution in furniture making, inventing a method for bending wood to create strong but lightweight seating. Crafted by TON in the original Thonet factory, this chair is true to the famous Chair 811, designed by Josef Hoffman for Thonet in 1930. The combination of black solid beech wood frame with a padded seat and a caned back that feels spacious and supportive.
