Suydam Stool by ALVARO UCHA RODRIGUEZ

The Suydam Stool by Alvaro Ucha Rodriguez was designed for efficiency—in construction by use of materials and fabrication, as well as in storage by stack-ability. The design was inspired by architetcural framing brackets and other industrial uses of metal that are used to join wood. Its name derives from Alvaro’s time at our wood shop on Suydam Street, marking his first project that allowed for direct collaboration with our carpenters.
