This chair was designed in Vietnam, making use of the materials and artisan techniques that could be found during the war. “What could be sweeter than to touch a polished fir table top, smooth as a woman’s legs?”, remarked Charlotte Perriand, who often adapted her designs to the materials available and to the places of production.
